Part I: The Beginning

In the beginning, Avalore was discovered by two equine, Phoenix and Haites. Phoenix was kind and docile, while Haites was short tempered and irritable. Both equine were wise, but they had grown to hate the other. Haites ruled a group of outlaws similar while, while Phoenix lead a group of prideful horses. The groups where steadily at each other, the outlaws raiding the light lands, stealing mares, herds, foals, land, anything possible.

As the groups grew larger, the leaders found a mare the fancied. The mares where sisters - twins actually. Phoenix had chosen Rosen, while Haites had chosen Toxica. Eventually, Rosen sired Phoenix's foal- whom was a filly named Enchantress. Few months later, Toxica sired Haites' colt named Gladiator.

As the foals grew, a raid was held. A warrior stole Enchantress, and the royal family was devastated. Phoenix had stormed to the evils' territory, demanding the filly back. An agreement was held - Phoenix would get the filly back until she had turned exactly three years of age, then she could choose whether or not to stay. But the day never came, and Enchantress disappeared, never to be seen again.

Part II: New Leaders

Kings and Queens past numerously as the years past just as numerous. Nothing really happened during those many decades, or possibly centuries. The evil equine continued to murder the good, rapings still occurred, the land seemed to provided to safety. Until a young stallion took up the role as leader, his name was Borogula. He became king, his mate, Skysong, became Queen.

As a last resort to stop the fighting, the lights declared war upon the outlaws, they met together in a vicious battle known as the Borogula war. Borogula is the greatest leader known to Avalore, besides Guerra, the god of war, that is. He was the leader of the lights, and the one who stopped the bloody murder of the war.. No one knows who won this amazingly bloody battle, because the tales end there, but, it is said no one won, however, what happened after the war is fully known.

Spys pretending to be lost stallions tricked the lights into taking them in. They secretly watched the movements of the proud leader, and one dark night, they made their move. In the deep darkness of night, Borogula was slaughtered, when the horses arose and found his battered body, Skysong became crazed with rage, swearing on her life to kill the stallions who did this to him. But, she too, had the same fate, out numbered by the evil equine. Only one would step forth after wards, and that one was crowned the new leader.

The battles of lights and outlaws still rage today, perhaps the darks will use their evil spys again, the lights hope so, for this time, they are ready.
